House A, Batujimbar – Sanur

This privately owned house is one of the original 3 houses built by Geoffrey Bawa in the late 60’s.  It had been heavily renovated by the previous 2 owners and upon purchase by the current owner was found to require major repair and renovation work.  The architect maintained the building footprints but had to rebuild the central pavilion.  The 2 ponds were rebuilt to the same size as original.
